Internal Sales / Business Development Executive
Corby, Northamptonshire
£30,000 – £45,000 DOE
9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (with a 50-minute paid lunch break)

You’ll be the driving force behind the success of the field-based Business Development Managers, ensuring they have a strong pipeline of warm, qualified leads. This is a chance to really make your mark within a supportive team that values ambition, motivation, and results.
 
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Picking up the phone with confidence — proactively contacting leads and turning conversations into opportunities.
  • Qualifying prospects to ensure BDMs are meeting the right decision-makers.
  • Securing appointments for the BDM team so they can focus on converting clients.
  • Keeping the CRM system up to date so you’re always on top of your pipeline.
  • Working closely with the field team to share insights, refine strategy, and celebrate wins together.
  • Staying aware of the market and spotting opportunities that put you one step ahead of competitors.
  • Building relationships with potential customers by being professional, approachable, and persuasive.
 
What We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for someone who:
  • Has previous experience in telesales, internal sales, or business development.
  • Enjoys speaking to people, building rapport, and overcoming objections.
  • Is motivated by targets and takes pride in smashing them.
  • Can work independently but also thrives in a team environment.
  • Has good organisational skills and knows how to manage their time effectively.
  • Has resilience — you don’t let “no” stop you from chasing the next “yes.”
  • Experience supporting a BDM team is an advantage, but not essential.
