Job Title: Accounts & Office Administrator
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Hours: 10:00am – 2:00pm, Monday to Friday (20 hours per week)

About the Role On behalf of our Kettering based client, Pertemps are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts & Office Administrator to manage our day-to-day bookkeeping and administrative tasks. This is a standalone position, giving you full ownership of the accounts process and the opportunity to make a real impact in the smooth running of the business. It’s ideal for someone with solid Sage experience who enjoys working with numbers while also keeping office operations organised.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and update financial records using Sage accounting software.
- Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and promptly.
- Reconcile bank statements and assist with month-end processes.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, raising purchase orders when needed.
- Prepare and send out customer invoices and statements.
- Handle parcel dispatches and liaise with couriers.
- Manage general office duties such as responding to emails, filing, and maintaining records in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Support management with financial reports and ad-hoc accounts tasks.
Skills & Experience Required- Proven experience using Sage for bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Good understanding of bookkeeping principles and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Previous experience in an accounts/admin role preferred.
