Temp to Perm Opportunity
Location: Corby
Salary: £22,500 - £25,000 per year (depending on experience)
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (06:00 - 14:00 or 14:00 - 22:00)
Overtime: Available, including weekends (flexibility required)
About the Company: Our client, a well-established family-run business with over 20 years of experience, is a market leader in subcontract cutting services. Due to ongoing growth, they are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team in Corby on a temp to perm basis.
The Role: As a Machine Operator, you will play a key role in the production process, working alongside a friendly and dedicated factory team. You will be trained on all necessary processes, including operating cutting machines and ensuring that all products meet high-quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Machine Setup & Operation: Preparing and operating machines before and after production runs.
• Quality Control: Ensuring products match technical drawings and meet specified standards.
• Team Collaboration: Supporting fellow team members to maintain a smooth and efficient production process.
• Attention to Detail: Prioritising quality and ensuring the best possible finish for all products.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Attention to Detail: You will need to work to a high standard with a focus on precision.
• Organised and Motivated: You should be able to manage your tasks efficiently and show a willingness to learn.
• Experience: While prior experience is not essential, we welcome candidates who are committed to learning and developing their skills.
• Forklift License (Desirable): A forklift license is a plus but not essential.
• Weekend Availability: Flexibility to work weekends if required.
