Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Corby. The Warehouse Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient flow of goods, and managing a small team to ensure high standards of safety, accuracy, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Oversee the day-to-day activities in the warehouse, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods in line with company procedures.
- Ensure that all inventory is properly tracked, organized, and accounted for.
- Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure that performance targets and KPIs are met, with a focus on quality and productivity.
- Provide training and development for warehouse staff to improve skills and knowledge.
- Liaise with other departments to coordinate logistics and ensure timely deliveries.
- Handle any issues or discrepancies related to inventory or operational concerns.
- Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably within a logistics or distribution environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and best practices.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
