Job DescriptionAs a Food Production Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of food products. This role involves working 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule of 4 days on, 4 days off, alternating between days and nights.
Key Responsibilities
- Production Operations: Operate and monitor machinery and equipment used in the food production process.
- Quality Control: Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards through regular inspection and testing.
- Hygiene and Safety: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the production area. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- Packaging: Package finished products according to company standards and specifications.
- Record Keeping: Accurately complete all required documentation, including production logs and quality records.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in food production is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating food production machinery and equipment.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure quality standards are met.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for long periods, lifting, and moving heavy items.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule, including both day and night shifts.
- Communication Skills: Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and supervisors.
