Position: PA/Secretary (Temporary Cover) 
Location: Kettering
Hourly Rate: £13-£15 per hour
Type: Part-Time (20-25 hours per week)
About UsWe are a dynamic company operating in a commercial environment, seeking a highly skilled and experienced PA/Secretary to provide temporary cover  This role requires exceptional secretarial and administrative skills, particularly in audio transcription, with a minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute.
Job DescriptionWe urgently need a reliable and efficient PA/Secretary to support our office operations. The successful candidate will have strong audio experience and be capable of handling a variety of administrative tasks with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
  • Audio Transcription: Transcribe audio recordings accurately and efficiently.
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support, including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office records.
  • Document Preparation: Prepare, format, and edit documents and reports as required.
  • Diary Management: Manage the diaries and appointments for senior staff, ensuring all engagements are well-coordinated.
  • Office Coordination: Assist in the smooth running of the office, ensuring supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained.
  • Communication: Handle telephone calls and emails professionally, directing inquiries to the appropriate person or department.
  • Task Management: Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Significant experience in a secretarial or PA role within a commercial environment.
  • Audio Skills: Strong audio transcription skills with a minimum typing speed of 65 words per minute.
  • Administrative Proficiency: Excellent administrative and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Reliability: Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks.
