Job Coach

Pertemps are supporting a local Public Sector client who are seeking to appoint an Job Coach during Term Time (36 weeks per year).

Role Overview:
To provide support to young people with additional needs to gain supported work within the local community. Engage with employers to provide opportunities for students to complete placements.

Key Responsibilities:
Engage with the Coordinator to match suitable candidates to work experience placements within the local community
Complete risk assessments and assignment details in the workplace
Arrange support plans with employers in like with placement agreements
Support and mentor interns within the workplace

The ideal candidate would have previous experience working within a role that provides support to those with additional needs. Previous networking experience and knowledge of working with local communities would be advantageous.

This role is based within an education setting and will be during Term time (36 weeks per year)
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 pro rata
