Hours: Monday and Tuesday 07:30 - 16:30 or 08:30 - 17:00
Pay: £12.25 per hour
Contract: Temporary
Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Packer on behalf of our client based in Kidderminster. This is a temporary position to support a busy period, but for the right candidate, it could develop into a long-term opportunity.
We're looking for someone who has previous experience in a packing role and can hit the ground running in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
The Duties of a Warehouse Packer:
- Pack products according to order sheets
- Use a handheld scanner to confirm items before backing
- Label packages accurately and ensure proper sealing and wrapping
- Inspect items for damage or defects before packing
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the packing area
- Follow all safety guidelines and warehouse procedures
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets
The Requirements of a Warehouse Packer:
- Previous experience in packing or despatch
- Ability to stand, lift, and move packages throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexibility to work additional shifts should the workload increase
