Job Description
Location: Worcester
Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Pay: £13.50 - £15.00 /hour
As a Finance Assistant you will be responsible for:
- To support the Finance team with Finance Payable, dealing with enquiries and tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
- To share responsibility for Finance Receivable and to ensure that daily communications are monitored and answered.
- To oversee general cash management, including banking and related queries, ensuring that amounts and records are correct.
- Undertaking administrative support to Management Accountants and clerical tasks to support where appropriate.
- Recording and filing cash transactions
- Assisting with month-end processes where appropriate.
As a Finance Assistant you will be required to:
- Solid understanding of financial systems and processes.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and make recommendations.
- Good IT skills and ability to work with multiple systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Positive attitude towards problem solving.
- Previous experience in Finance is highly desirable.
