Job Title: Homeless Prevention Solutions Officer
Location: London Borough of Harrow, Forward Drive, Harrow, Middlesex, HA3 8NT
Salary: £16.19 PAYE per hour 

Overview:
The London Borough of Harrow is seeking an experienced Homeless Prevention Solutions Officer to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct homelessness needs assessments and develop personalized housing plans
• Provide proactive housing advice and explore prevention solutions for those at risk
• Work collaboratively with local authorities, landlords, and support agencies
• Assist individuals in securing sustainable accommodation and preventing eviction
• Issue statutory homelessness decision letters in line with legal requirements
• Manage caseloads effectively and maintain accurate records using IT systems
• Offer holistic support, including referrals for individuals with complex needs
• Participate in duty rotas and respond to urgent housing-related inquiries

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of homelessness legislation and housing policies
• Ability to interpret and explain complex legal guidance
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Experience in case management and working with vulnerable individuals
• Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
• Proficiency in using IT systems for record-keeping and reporting
