Harrow Council is actively seeking a dedicated Complaints and Resident Engagement Officer to join our Housing Department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring effective communication with residents, handling complaints, and promoting community engagement. The competitive pay rate of £15.39 per hour (Payee) is complemented by excellent training opportunities and support for career development. Additionally, you'll enjoy 21 days of holiday (excluding Bank Holidays).

Responsibilities:
o Record and assign complaints, Councillor enquiries, and MP enquiries to the relevant teams.
o Compile complaints and enquiries spanning multiple teams within Housing Services.
o Monitor complaints to ensure timely completion.
o Ensure that Housing Services staff adhere to established procedures for handling complaints and Member enquiries, in alignment with Council and statutory requirements.
o Utilize energy, creativity, and interpersonal skills to encourage diverse resident engagement through various channels (digital, events, traditional communication).
o Reach out to hard-to-reach groups within the community.
o Promote opportunities for community involvement in task and issue-based groups (e.g., skills, training, health and wellbeing activities, tenant and resident associations).
o Support resident groups and individual residents in achieving their objectives, customized to their specific needs and priorities.
