Job Description
We are currently recruiting Parcel Sorters to support operations at a busy air cargo facility based at London Stansted Airport. This is a Saturday-only position, ideal for individuals looking to supplement their income with flexible weekend work. No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
Shift & Timings
- Shift: Saturday
- Time: 15:30 – 02:00
Pay Rate
- Standard (15:30 – 22:00): £13.29 per hour (£13.40 p/h after 12 weeks)
- Night (22:00 – 02:00): £17.29 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Scanning parcels and placing them onto conveyor belts
- Loading and unloading parcels, freight, and cargo (11kg – 25kg)
- Assisting with loading parcels into vehicles and containers
- Sorting parcels into designated areas for dispatch
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Requirements
- Ability to lift and handle parcels up to 25kg
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding, repetitive role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
- Ability to travel to and from Stansted Airport for shift times
- 5-year checkable work/education history
- Clear UK Criminal Record Check (DBS)
