Our client is seeking a
Field Service Installation & Maintenance Engineer to join a growing team on a full-time basis.
As part of the Field Service team, you will work in a
mobile role, carrying out
full installations of perimeter security systems including gates, barriers, and road blockers. You will also attend existing client sites to perform
routine maintenance, inspections, emergency call-outs, and repairs, supporting customers in maintaining the reliability and safety of their security systems. In addition to their own products, you will also work with
equipment from other leading manufacturers.
Working closely with the administration team, you will visit
new and existing clients primarily across London and the South East, with travel across the UK as required. Depending on experience, knowledge, and capability,
occasional international travel opportunities may also be available.
Reporting to the
Field Operations Manager, they are looking for someone who is
self-motivated, confident, and customer-focused, with a proactive approach to problem solving. You will be expected to complete all work to a high standard following completion of an
in-house training programme.
Attention to detail is essential. You will be responsible for maintaining
accurate service records, documenting checks and work completed after each visit, and
managing stock and parts held in your company vehicle to ensure readiness for upcoming jobs.
Due to the nature of the role, applicants must have a
full, clean driving licence, good physical fitness, strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to
pass security clearance checks.
