Our client is a well-established and growing business based in Horsham, who are looking to appoint a
Credit Control & Customer Service Executive to join their team in a varied, dual-function role.
This position plays a key part in supporting both the finance and operations sides of the business — combining proactive credit control with day-to-day customer coordination.
Please note this is a fully office-based role with no hybrid working. Due to office location own transport is essential.
The Role:- Proactively contacting customers to chase outstanding payments
- Allocating incoming payments accurately
- Preparing, issuing and following up on invoices and statements
- Handling incoming customer calls and enquiries
- Raising jobs and preparing quotations
- Booking Engineers and coordinating schedules
- Keeping CRM systems updated with customer and job records
The Person:- A confident communicator with excellent customer service skills - able to adapt your approach depending on the customer or situation
- Commercially aware, with the ability to understand varying customer accounts and payment terms
- Comfortable balancing financial responsibilities with customer-focussed duties
- Proficient in MS Office (including Excel) & able to learn new CRM platforms
- Organised, proactive and solutions-focused
The Package: - Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
- Starting salary of £32,000pa
