A leading plant hire company, is seeking a skilled Workshop Technician to join their busy yard in Redhill, Surrey.

If you’re hands-on, mechanically minded, and ready to take ownership of equipment maintenance and servicing, this is your opportunity to step into a rewarding, site-based role with a company that values expertise and initiative.

What You’ll Be Doing

Inspecting and checking in returned hire equipment (ladders, platforms, equipment hoists, personnel hoists)

Performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure readiness for next hire

Erecting and assembling scaffold and hoist equipment

Servicing and installing hoists

Working with electrical equipment and applying basic electrical knowledge


What You’ll Need:

Solid understanding of mechanical and electrical systems

Materials handling experience (ideal but not essential)

A proactive, safety-conscious approach

Willingness to learn


Hours & Perks:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (site-based)

Competitive salary: £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience

22 days holiday + bank holidays
