Job Description
We are working with a well-established organisation that is looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team. This is a permanent role.
The Role:
You will play a key role in supporting warehouse operations, ensuring stock is picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently, while maintaining high standards of safety and organisation. Responsibilities will include:
- Picking and packaging stock for customer orders, ensuring suitability for transport.
- Carrying out stock checks and assisting with stock queries.
- Loading and unloading shipments for dispatch.
- Supporting booking in deliveries and unloading goods.
- Checking, labelling, and repackaging products for storage.
- Entering stock accurately into the system and maintaining a tidy, safe working environment.
- Providing occasional support to the delivery driver when required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, manufacturing, or pick & pack is desirable.
- Forklift licence (reach and/or counterbalance) is an advantage - training provided if needed.
- Strong numeracy, literacy, and data entry skills.
- A team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Full UK driving licence desirable.
- £26,350 basic salary per annum.
- Profit share scheme after probation.
- 20 days holiday (increasing with service) + birthday day off + holiday purchase scheme.
- Auto-enrolment pension scheme.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:45 - 18:00.
