Our client, a well-established construction firm based in Crawley, is looking for a customer-focused and proactive
Construction Sales Executive to join their busy, personable team. This is a technical sales role where you'll manage orders and proposals for B2B clients-from initial quotation to dispatch and delivery coordination.
We're looking for a candidate with prior experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry, and someone confident in interpreting technical drawings. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are essential, along with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
The Role:
- Handling inbound enquiries via phone and email
- Managing and developing customer accounts
- Creating quotations from construction drawings and documents
- Processing customer orders
- Liaising with internal departments to coordinate deliveries
- Maintaining and updating the CRM database
- Proactively maximising customer accounts through upselling and cross-selling of new and additional products
The Person:
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a busy workload
- Strong IT skills and familiarity with CRM systems
- Commercial mindset with a proactive approach to identifying sales opportunities within existing accounts
The Package:
- Salary up to £35,000 (DOE) + up to 10% annual bonus
- Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm (1-hour lunch break)
