Job Description
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Goods In Operative to join a leading company on the outskirts of Horsham. They are a specialist manufacturer and supplier of high-end stationery and materials. They supply to retailers, universities, key accounts throughout the UK and Europe.
Working in a busy and dynamic role this is a varied position with duties including:
- Loading and unloading deliveries using Counterbalance
- Booking goods in onto WMS
- Checking for missing and damaged items
- Storing items in correct warehouse locations using Reach Truck
- Performing daily forklift safety checks
- Replenishment of stock
- Valid forklift licences – Reach, Counterbalance and ideally Flexi
- Previous experience in a similar warehouse position
- Experience using PDA/ Hand-held Scanners
- Own transport due to site location
Package:
- 8.00 am to 4.30 pm Monday to Friday (40 hour week) with overtime opportunities
- Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 DOE
- 20 days holiday (increasing to 25 days after 5 years employment).
