Job Description
Our client, a leading specialist manufacturer in their field, are seeking a Plant Maintenance Engineer to join their expert team in Cranleigh.
*Please note own location is essential due to their location*
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery, including mixing, filling, pouch sealing, labelling, and folding.
- Work with mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical machinery to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faults swiftly and effectively.
- Execute PPM to ensure operational efficiency and minimise downtime.
- Attend to machinery breakdowns, identifying issues promptly and delivering high-quality repairs to minimise disruption to production.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance engineering, with strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Confident fault-finding abilities across mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently, using initiative to solve complex technical issues under pressure.
- Reliability and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring all equipment functions optimally.
- Own transport is essential due to the location.
The Package:
- Monday - Friday, 7am - 3.30pm (40-hour week)
- Competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000pa DOE.
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays.
