Job Description

This is an operational and analytical role focused on protecting customers and the Clean Water System by assessing risk, improving ways of working, and helping minimise supply interruptions. You will work closely with operational teams to ensure all planned activity on the network is delivered safely, compliantly, and with the customer experience in mind.

What you’ll be doing as a Customer Risk Analyst
  • Building and drafting risk assessment strategies to resolve operational challenges across the Clean Water System
  • Ensuring all planned leakage, maintenance, and capital works are assessed and carried out safely and responsibly
  • Using data from corporate systems to assess complex problems and develop practical, risk based solutions
  • Completing system risk assessments in a timely manner to support operational delivery
  • Developing plans that minimise customer supply interruptions and support regulatory targets
  • Supporting Water Quality compliance at all times and providing specialist advice on clean water system risks
Base location: Kemble Court – hybrid with a minimum of 3 days in the office
Working hours: 36 hours per week, 8 am to 4pm or 9am to 5 pm Monday to Friday

What you should bring to the role
  • Experience within the water industry or education in a relevant STEM discipline would be advantages
  • An analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
  • An interest in systems, data, and operational risk within a regulated environment
  • Exposure to tools such as hydraulic modelling, SCADA, GIS, SAP, Salesforce, or Microsoft Office 365 is helpful but not essential as full training will be provided
