What you’ll be doing as a Project ManagerWe are embarking on a major transformation of our HR and Payroll systems with the implementation of
SAP SuccessFactors. To lead this journey, we’re looking for an experienced
Project Manager who will spearhead the end-to-end deployment of this pivotal ERP solution.
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of SAP SuccessFactors for HR and Payroll.
- Actively engage in programme resources and establish delivery plans, governance, and risk controls.
- Apply the SAP Activate methodology to structure, guide, and monitor delivery.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across People, Finance, Digital, Commercial/Procurement, ERP Programme, and senior leadership.
- Act as the main interface with our System Integrator to ensure delivery and alignment.
- Develop and execute a business change strategy, including supplier enablement, training, and employee portal adoption.
- Oversee data migration, cleansing, transformation, and validation, ensuring business sign-off.
- Ensure smooth integration with existing ERP and People systems.
- Define, monitor, and report on KPIs and benefits realisation aligned with programme objectives.
Base location: Hybrid - Clearwater Court - RG1 8DBWorking hours: 38.5 hours, Monday to Friday What you should bring to the role:Essential:The essential criteria to help you succeed in this role are:
- Degree in Business, IT, or related field.
- SAP SuccessFactors certification or equivalent hands-on implementation experience.
- Track record of leading SAP HR/Payroll SuccessFactors implementations, ideally within utilities or regulated industries.
- Proficiency in HR and Payroll processes, ERP integrations, and SAP Activate methodology.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at all levels.
- Experience in data governance, change management, and supplier enablement.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage third-party partners.
Desirable:Additional skills and experiences would be great to have or bring:
- Project Management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP)
- Skilled in applying change management frameworks.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology to business goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to influence at all levels.
- Collaborative leader who can coach, mentor, and inspire high-performing teams.
