Change & Product Function. We’re looking for an exceptional and driven professional to take on a pivotal role, working alongside senior leaders and cross-functional teams to solve complex challenges with creativity and precision. What you will be doing as a Project Manager
  • Take accountability for the project, cost, and quality, leading the project team to meet its objectives.
  • Lead internal teams and, in some cases, third-party collaborators, employing a combination of line management and matrix management approaches to ensure the successful delivery of project outcomes.
  • Ensure all project activities align to project governance, establishing regular project review meetings covering cost, schedule, resources, RAID, and RAG statuses.
  • Create and maintain project cost models covering actual, accrual, and forecast – challenging costs to drive value.
  • Identify and engage with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and implement a communications plan to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Ensure all project activities comply with regulatory requirements and quality standards. 

Base Location: Hybrid – Walnut Court, Swindon or Clear Water Court Reading.

Hours 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

What you should bring to the role: 

You’ll have a track record of delivering projects of all sizes, managing stakeholders from team members to executives. A self-starter and quick learner, you solve problems with ease, need minimal guidance, and hit the ground running in fast-paced environments.

To thrive in this role, the essential criteria you’ll need are:
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex, high-value projects from initiation to delivery. Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams, controlling budgets, and delivering results in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop people in a culture of accountability and achievement. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver at pace. 
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. 
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. 
Additional skills and experiences would be great to have
  • Familiarity with Retail services in the water industry is an advantage.
  • Mentoring others in Project Management.
