Job Description

Are you someone who is ready to support our Strategic Operations & Transformation Team deliver change in Asset Operations & Capital Delivery? 

Working as part of the Strategic Operations, Transformation & Performance Team, you will support the business through change, delivering key initiatives to ensure that the business and employees are ready, willing, and able to accept the changes to their working lives. This will enable the delivery of the transformation outcomes.

This role is critical to our AMP7 Plan and the future success of our business, making changes to both our service and delivery to achieve our purpose of which we are very proud: “to deliver life’s essential service, so our customers, communities and the environment can thrive”.

You will do this by harnessing the passion of our people and technology advancements to support our transformational journey and ambition

What you will be doing in this Project Management role:
  • Lead initiatives and coordinate all activities, ensuring outcomes and timelines are maintained.
  • Create the business engagement and information required for agreement of right activities.
  • Manage and proactively identify risks/issues/dependencies.
  • Producing and maintaining programme/project documents.
  • Develop presentations and outward reporting.
  • Provide and deliver reports, presentations, and analysis of data as necessary.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders as required to support the delivery governance.
  • Support the delivery of targeted communications back to the business to enhance engagement.
Base location: Hybrid role based at Clearwater Court in Reading with expectation of being in the office once a week, plus travel to operational sites as required.

Hours of work: 36 hours a week, Monday to Friday
 
What you should bring to the role
  • Experience of delivering operational projects or working in a change environment in an organisation with cross-functional teams.
  • Have a logical and considered approach with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivation, drive and pragmatism are critical, as are good communication skills and customer ethic.
  • Experience in influencing and coaching stakeholders from the frontline operational team to middle management.
  • Strong attention to detail alongside excellent organisational skills
