As an
SAP Procurement Functional Consultant, you'll be responsible for creating processes, gathering requirements, and designing efficient solutions that meet company demands and future-state architecture.
You'll be a member of a collaborative Agile team working in a rapidly changing digital landscape, with an emphasis on continuous improvement, user-centric delivery, and innovation.
What you’ll be doing as a SAP Procurement Functional Consultant- Lead functional workshops with business and technical stakeholders during the discovery phase.
- Define and document business requirements, process flows, and solution designs for SAP Ariba modules.
- Provide functional expertise across Ariba Sourcing, Contracts, Buying & Invoicing (P2P), and Supplier Lifecycle and Performance.
- Translate business needs into Ariba configuration and design recommendations.
- Work closely with technical teams, delivery partners, and product owners to ensure that solutions align with programme goals.
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support data migration, testing strategy, and cutover planning.
Base location – Hybrid _ Clear Water Court, ReadingWhat you should bring to the roleEssential- Proven experience as a Functional Consultant in SAP Ariba implementations.
- Strong understanding of source-to-pay (S2P) or procure-to-pay (P2P) processes.
- Hands-on experience configuring and supporting one or more SAP Ariba modules.
- Experience working within Agile delivery frameworks.
- SAP Ariba certification(s) in one or more modules. (e.g., Sourcing, Contracts, P2P).
- Proficiency with Ariba integration touchpoints. (including SAP ECC or S/4HANA)
- Excellent documentation skills.
Desirable- Experience in the utilities, water, or similarly regulated industries.
- Background in procurement transformation.
- Knowledge of SAP Fieldglass or SAP Central Procurement.
- Understanding of data migration tools and Ariba reporting/analytics.
