Job Description

We are looking for a Waste Water Process Shift Performance Manager to join Thames Water permanently.

As part of the Wastewater team, this role is responsible for leading a team to deliver the day-to-day operations and improvements of wastewater treatment processes in a specific area.

Mogden - Isleworth - TW7 7LW.

Through effective leadership, management, and safety of field resources, you will be responsible for monitoring operational processes against set performance and expenditure targets, our regulatory obligations, along with statutory requirements.

You will inspire and motivate a multi-skilled team where you will drive a culture of operational excellence, continuous improvement, and engagement into which behavioural safety is embedded.

What will you be doing as a Waste Water Process Shift Performance Manager
  • Effectively lead the Health, Safety and Wellbeing culture of the team as well as driving and creating an environment where good practices are a way of everyday life and total compliance is adhered to in line with the Health & Safety Policy.
  • Ensuring site compliance and the site achieves and maintains its required plant availability and reliability to meet quality targets at the agreed cost.
  • Lead, manage and develop staff to achieve agreed objectives, providing strong leadership aligned with the Thames Water Values.
  • Owning and managing the budgetary and financial activities of the team and driving efficiencies into the overall operational budget to meet the business plan for the AMP for opex and capex.
  • Ensuring an exceptional service to both our internal and external customers with early personal interventions as required.

  • Ability to lead and develop people within a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational and risk management skills.
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
  • Financial management skills and commercial awareness.
  • Good stakeholder engagement and customer focus.
  • UK Drivers Licence.
  • Required to complete NEBOSH and MoWWT as well as AP(D) and WAMITAB if applicable to site.
