We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our clients new site in Nuneaton on a permanent, full time basis. You will be responsible alongside senior management in the organisation, set up and running of a new warehouse.
This will be a full time role working Monday to Friday and an FLT licence would be highly beneficial.
The primary responsibility of the Order Fulfilment Associate is to ensure customer orders are accurately and efficiently picked, packed, and prepared for delivery. This role also includes organizing shipments and following up on deliveries to ensure timely arrival. The Order Fulfilment Associate supports the end-to-end fulfilment process, contributing to operational excellence and a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Receive goods, including unloading, verifying delivery notes, visual inspection of materials, system registration and proper storage.
Prepare and manage outbound shipments, including picking, packing, labelling and preparing shipping documentation.
Organize the warehouse efficiently according to product type, stock rotation, and available space.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing goods with the logistics team and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Handle returns and repairs, including system updates and proper document archiving.
Support inventory control by conducting periodic stock counts, monitoring consumables, and requesting replenishments as needed.
Prepare documentation required for billing and order tracking.
Record goods movements accurately in SAP or another ERP system, including delivery notes and shipping reports.
Monitor daily shipments and process invoicing, maintaining communication with the finance department.
Communicate effectively with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure operational efficiency.
Comply with all quality procedures, safety standards, and internal regulations.
Prepare and update all the required reports to provide accurate information of the department to fulfil the KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent qualifications in logistics, supply chain or warehousing.
- Technical skills: proficient in using inventory and order management systems as SAP and other standard software as Excel, etc.
- Attention to detail: strong accuracy in picking, packing, and data entry
- Certifications: Valid Forklift license.
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years in warehouse, fulfilment, or logistics roles preferred. Industrial sector is a plus.
