As a Scheduler, you'll play an important part in making sure the right resources are available for both reactive and planned maintenance work. This role involves managing a large area and coordinating with different teams to meet various business needs every day. It’s all about delivering great service to our customers and helping our field teams work as efficiently as possible.
What you will be doing as a Scheduler- You'll ensure that every technician has a full day of work, matching skills to the right tasks. Communication with field teams (including managers and coordinators) will be key to making sure everything runs smoothly and on time.
- You’ll be monitoring reactive work and ensuring that everything meets SLA targets. You’ll make sure that alarms are actioned quickly and escalate any issues that arise. You’ll also be in charge of assigning and reassigning work as needed.
- Following company processes (including health & safety) is crucial, and you’ll make sure everything is in line with policies.
- You’ll be working closely with different teams like the field crew, planners, and resource coordinators, always helping out where needed and making sure that issues are sorted quickly.
- This is a role where you’ll always be looking for ways to improve. You’ll work alongside our Continuous Improvement Team to make things better for everyone.
- You’ll use Microsoft Office, SAP ECC, and Click to manage schedules and keep track of progress.
Working Hours: 07:00-15:00 or 07:30-15:30, Monday to Friday.
Base Location: Hybrid – minimum of 2 days a week working from the office in Kemble Court, Reading, with the option to work the rest of the days from home.
What you should bring to the role - You’ll need strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment is key.
- You should be good at analyzing data to spot potential problems.
- Previous experience in the Water/Wastewater industry would be great but not essential.
What’s in it for you?- Salary from £25,000 to £28,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
