Manual Industrial Grass Cutting Workers
Pertemps Plymouth are currently recruiting for Grass Cutting Operatives to join the Plymouth City Council streets department.

Job Details:
- Hours: 06:30am - 16:15pm, Monday to Thursday, from Prince Rock Depot. Commitment to these hours is essential.
- Pay: £12.85 per hour.
- Duration: Temporary position for the season. Due to start in March and expected to run until October 2025.
- Induction: A manual induction is required upon successful application. You must be available to attend the PCC department on the specified date and accommodate the quick turnaround of compliance for this role.

Duties:
- Working in a fast-paced environment.
- Performing lots of manual handling.
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Operating and maintaining grass cutting equipment such as strimmers and mowers.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Reporting any equipment issues or maintenance needs.
- Assisting with other street maintenance tasks as required.
- Collaborating with team members to complete tasks effectively.

Ideal Candidate:
- Holds a Full UK Driving Licence (required to drive up to 3.5T).
- Has previous experience working outdoors, including using strimmers and mowers.
- Is physically capable of carrying out tasks safely and effectively.
- Is a motivated team player.
- Has good knowledge of Plymouth and recent driving experience (advantageous).
