Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior – North West London

Sheridan Maine is working with a well-established chartered accountants practice in North West London to recruit an Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a practice professional with a strong interest in personal tax and accounts, looking to take ownership of their own portfolio within a supportive and growing firm.

The Role – Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior:

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 300 self-assessment tax returns
• Handle a varied client base including sole traders, landlords, and tax-only clients
• Prepare and submit personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Build strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact
• Support with company accounts, corporation tax, and VAT returns (desirable)

About You – Accounts & Tax Semi-Senior:

• Previous experience in a UK accountancy practice role
• Strong knowledge of self-assessment tax and personal tax compliance
• An interest in developing further within tax and accounts
• Experience with sole traders and rental income clients
• Exposure to company accounts, corporation tax, or VAT would be advantageous
• AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA / ACA (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
