Sheridan Maine is working exclusively with an established and highly respected accountancy practice in East London to recruit a Partner to join their senior leadership team.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced accountancy professional / existing Partner / Senior Director to step into a strategic role within a growing firm, with genuine influence over business direction, client development, and long-term growth strategy.

The Role: 
 
As a Partner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the practice, combining client advisory leadership with commercial responsibility and team development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow a diverse portfolio of SME and corporate clients
• Drive business development, networking, and new client acquisition
• Oversee delivery of high-quality accounting, audit, and advisory services
• Mentor and develop senior managers and future leaders within the firm
• Contribute to strategic planning, profitability, and operational growth
• Strengthen the firm’s presence across East London and surrounding markets
• Ensure compliance with UK accounting standards and regulatory requirements

About You 

To succeed in this Partner role, you will ideally have:

• ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Significant experience within an accountancy practice environment
• Proven track record at Senior Manager, Director, or Partner level
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in business development and client growth
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• A proactive, entrepreneurial approach to growing a practice
