Semi Senior Accountant

Sheridan Maine is delighted to partner with a well-established professional services firm in West London to recruit an experienced Semi-Senior Accountant on a 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure to varied accounts work, contribute to client delivery, and support a growing finance team during a busy period.

  
As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you will: 

•  Assist with the preparation and review of accounts for clients across a range of sectors.
•  Support month-end and year-end reporting processes.
•  Reconcile accounts and perform bookkeeping duties where required.
•  Assist with VAT and other compliance submissions.
•  Provide support to senior staff and learn through exposure to advisory and client-facing work.
•  Help maintain accurate and timely financial records in line with professional standards. 

 
The successful Semi-Senior Accountant will have: 

•  Part-qualified ACA/ACCA, or equivalent accounting experience.
•  Experience preparing accounts within a professional practice or corporate environment.
•  Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
•  Attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
•  Ability to work under supervision and take direction from senior staff.
•  Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks.
