Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with a well-established chartered accountancy practice based in Essex, who are seeking an Audit Semi Senior to join their friendly and professional team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to continue their career in audit and gain valuable exposure to a wide range of clients across multiple sectors.

Key responsibilities of the Audit Semi Senior:

• Assisting in the planning, execution and completion of audit assignments.
• Supporting senior team members during on-site and remote audit work.
• Preparing audit files, working papers and documentation to a high standard.
• Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and build positive working relationships.
• Assisting with accounts preparation and other ad hoc assignments as required.

The ideal Audit Semi Senior will have:

• At least 2 years’ experience within a UK accountancy practice, ideally within an audit-focused role.
• ACA/ACCA qualification or studying towards qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and an organised approach to work.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive and professional attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
