We are seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Tax Manager to join a growing tax team based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a varied portfolio of private clients, including business owners, landlords, and high-net-worth individuals, providing a combination of tax compliance and advisory services.

Whether you are an Assistant Manager ready to step up, or an established Manager looking for a new challenge, this role offers the chance to progress your career in a supportive environment with a clear path for development.

You will work closely with senior colleagues, supporting clients with a range of complex tax matters while also contributing to the development of the next generation of tax professionals.

Your responsibilities as the Personal Tax Manager will include:
  • Providing high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to a broad range of private clients.
  • Advising on remuneration planning, including share incentive schemes.
  • Supporting clients with capital tax planning, including inheritance tax and trusts.
  • Working on property tax projects and advising on related tax issues.
  • Providing guidance on international tax matters where required.
  • Coaching and developing trainee tax professionals to help them become accomplished business advisors.

To be considered for the role of Personal Tax Manager, you will:
  • Hold an appropriate professional qualification (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Have experience working within a private client or personal tax environment.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
  • Enjoy developing people and have a track record of coaching and supporting others.
