This role involves supervising audit teams, reviewing work for accuracy and compliance, and ensuring that audits are completed efficiently and to the highest professional standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, leadership ability, and a deep understanding of auditing standards and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, execute, and oversee audit engagements across a range of clients or departments.
- Supervise and mentor audit staff and junior team members, providing training and performance feedback.
- Review working papers and audit documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Assess internal controls, identify control weaknesses, and recommend practical solutions.
- Prepare and present audit findings and reports to senior management and/or clients.
- Ensure audits are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and audit best practices.
- Assist in risk assessments and the development of annual audit plans.
- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, or third-party stakeholders when required.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization or client base.
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
- Professional certification such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIA (required or in progress).
- Minimum of 4–6 years of progressive experience in auditing.
- Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing standards.
- Proven experience in leading audit teams and managing engagements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in audit tools and financial systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines.
