Finance Systems & Reporting Accountant

Sheridan Maine is recruiting a Finance Systems & Reporting Accountant for a 6-month fixed-term contract.  This role will support the finance team across budgeting, forecasting, statutory reporting, audit, and finance systems, ensuring accurate group reporting and smooth year-end delivery.  This is a hands-on and varied role, ideal for a finance professional with strong reporting, systems, and analytical skills.

Remote working is available, with some on-site collaboration required.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Support the preparation, upload, and reconciliation of budgets, forecasts, and actuals within the group reporting system.
• Assist with finance system maintenance, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Support the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end reporting schedules.
• Assist with group consolidation and regulatory reporting.
• Provide audit and external reporting support.

 
Skills & Experience Required

• Experience in financial reporting, management accounting, budgeting, or finance systems.
• Strong Excel and IT skills.
• Qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / AAT).
• Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident communicator, comfortable working with senior stakeholders.
