Regional Finance Operations Manager - Europe & MENA

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced finance professional to join an international organisation as a Regional Finance Operations Manager, overseeing financial activities across the Europe and MENA regions. Reporting to the CFO, this role plays a key part in driving financial performance, strengthening controls, and supporting operational teams across multiple countries.
 
The Role
You will take ownership of finance operations across a number of regional entities, ensuring robust financial management, partnering with local leadership teams, and guiding finance teams to deliver accurate and timely outputs. This position works closely with senior stakeholders across the business and requires a proactive, commercially minded finance leader.
 
Your responsibilities as the Regional Finance Operations Manager will include:

• Oversee financial operations for multiple regional entities, ensuring strong governance and accountability.
• Review and challenge monthly management accounts, driving insight into variances and performance.
• Lead the preparation of regional budgets and forecasts.
• Manage cashflow forecasting and monitor working capital across your regions.
• Ensure AP/AR processes operate effectively, liaising with shared service centres as needed.
• Coordinate regional audits and act as the primary contact for external auditors.
• Oversee payroll sign-off processes across relevant markets.
• Support commercial teams by reviewing new customer prospects, conducting credit checks, and advising on financial viability.
• Build strong relationships with regional leadership teams and act as a trusted finance partner.
• Lead and develop finance team members, ensuring high performance and operational excellence.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams such as Legal, HR, IT, and central Finance to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

 
To be considered for this Regional Finance Operations role, you will have/be:

• A qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience managing finance operations in an international environment.
• Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Commercially astute with a strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Confident building relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making.
