Job Description

An urgent temporary Management Accountant position has arisen for an international organisation based in Basingstoke. The role will require an individual who is available at short notice and has prior experience of month end procedures and management reporting.

Due to additional workload within the central finance team, duties of the role will include but may not be limited to:

Assisting with month end processes such as accruals, prepayments, journals
Analysing P& L reports and preparing variance reporting
Undertaking balance sheet reconciliations
Intercompany reconciliations and recharges
Completing VAT and Intrastat returns
Assisting with bank reconciliations and payments
Weekly cash forecasting
Liaising with department heads in relation to cost centre reviews of budgets

The role will require a candidate with the following skills;

Part qualified or qualified by experience ( ACCA / CIMA / AAT )
Good interpersonal and communications skills
Strong IT experience with intermediate level Excel
Able to travel to Basingstoke on a daily basis
Management accounting experience

The company is accessible by public transport and have ample free car parking onsite.
