This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and supportive environment.
This role is ideal for either a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or a part-qualified professional actively studying towards their qualification, with a minimum of two years’ experience within an accounting team.
Your responsibilities as the Management Accountant will include:- Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts. Liaise with department heads and seek insightful commentary on department performance.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Supporting the financial reporting and month-end close activities.
- Conducting balance sheet reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Providing financial insight to key stakeholders to aid decision-making.
- Assisting with process improvements and financial controls.
- Supporting audits and liaising with external auditors as required.
The successful Management Accountant:- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or studying towards qualification.
- At least two years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- A keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- A proactive and adaptable approach with a drive for continuous improvement.
