This is a broad and dynamic role that covers statutory accounting, financial reporting, and finance business partnering, along with leading and mentoring a small finance team.
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager:- Manage statutory and financial accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Produce financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee technical accounting matters, including VAT reporting.
- Provide finance business partnering support, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team, fostering a high-performance culture.
The Ideal Finance Manager:- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Strong technical expertise, particularly in statutory accounting and VAT.
- Proven experience in finance business partnering, with a commercial mindset.
- Excellent systems knowledge, with strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Previous team leadership experience, with a hands-on and motivational approach.
