A brand new opportunity has become available for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a small finance team on a permanent basis in Andover. Our client prides themselves on their innovation and customer-focused approach and is seeking someone who shares the same company values.
Duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Generating sales invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Chasing outstanding debts
- Processing staff expenses and credit card reconciliations
- Monitor and review payment plan arrangements
- Resolving customer queries
- Weekly/Monthly Aged Debtor reviews
- Building and maintaining relationships internally and externally
- Month end close routines
- Assisting with accounts payable
- Supporting in general accounting processes, cash reconciliations and journal postings
The position requires an individual who has good knowledge of sales ledger processes and general accounting procedures. You will be proficient in Excel and have excellent communication skills.
The office is accessible by public transport and has free car-parking.
You are required to be eligible to work in the UK full time without restriction.
