Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant will include: - Prepare and deliver monthly management accounts, ensuring all reporting deadlines are consistently met.
- Assist in the preparation of annual statutory accounts.
- Develop budgets and forecasts in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Partner with budget holders across the business to provide financial insights and support.
- Manage, mentor, and support the Assistant Management Accountant, fostering their growth and development.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, journal processing, and variance analysis.
- Conduct detailed reporting and analytical tasks to inform decision-making.
Key skills and experience of the Management Accountant: - Part-qualified, fully qualified, or actively studying towards a recognized accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels.
- Proficiency in analysing, interpreting, and presenting financial data clearly and concisely.
