Sheridan Maine is delighted to be partnering with an esteemed organisation based in Bath to recruit a Finance Business Partner. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and high-performing finance team in a newly created role that promises both challenge and reward.
 
As the Finance Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in supporting key stakeholders and driving financial performance. This position offers a unique opportunity to bring together statutory and management accounting expertise, providing strategic insights that will contribute to the organisation's success.
 
Your responsibilities as the Finance Business Partner will include:

• Manage and oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Develop and maintain annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Monitor and review debtors to mitigate risks.
• Collaborate closely with other teams to drive alignment and outcomes.
• Provide financial and commercial insights to support decision-making processes.
• Deliver financial analysis and present monthly commentary to leadership teams.
• Coordinate with Group and Regional finance teams to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Manage and take ownership of multiple cost centres within the organisation.
• Produce ad hoc reports, presentations, and respond to information requests as required.
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements within the role.

 
To be considered for the role of Finance Business Partner:

• You will be a qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with strong technical and commercial acumen.
• Proven experience in statutory and management accounting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Highly organised with the proven ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
