Assistant Management Accountant (Hybrid)

Sheridan Maine is partnering with a Bristol-based client to recruit a talented Assistant Management Accountant for a permanent role. Your responsibilities as the Assistant Management Accountant will include:

• Oversee month-end close and deliver monthly/quarterly P&Ls
• Drive problem-solving and process improvements
• Review P&Ls with Operations and Finance teams to support financial performance insights for investors
• Prepare monthly management accounts and compare to Budget/Forecast
• Complete accurate balance sheet reconciliations
• Deliver business and financial analysis as needed
• Support property audits by addressing auditor requests promptly
• Assist with new property setups or disposals
• Respond to property investor queries
• Provide support to other departments as required

 
The successful Assistant Management Accountant will require the following skills and experience:

• Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or fully qualified AAT
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a finance team
• Proficient in Excel
• Experience with month-end processes
• Able to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Confident, proactive, and excellent communicator
• Self-motivated with initiative
