Sheridan Maine is currently recruiting for a fantastic new Credit Control opportunity in North Hampshire. Our client is a leading organisation which is continuing to expand its UK presence.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will be responsible for the following duties:
- Cash payment allocations.
- Actively chasing customers for outstanding debts.
- Liaising with customers in relation to payment queries.
- Performing account reconciliations.
- Resolving invoice queries.
- Sending out customer statements.
- Setting up new customers on the system.
- Undertaking credit risk assessments and setting credit limits.
The successful candidate will have prior knowledge and experience of sales ledger/ accounts receivable/ credit control ideally from a busy finance environment. Candidates who have strong communication skills and attention to detail are encouraged to apply for this great opportunity! It is essential to have experience of using finance systems and have intermediate Excel skills.
