Sheridan Maine is delighted to be working with a Hampshire-based business operating in a niche sector. We are seeking a technically strong and qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with financial reporting experience to join an established team in a varied and interesting position.
 
Key Responsibilities of the Finance Manager will include:

• Lead and mentor a team.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining robust financial control systems.
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements and reports for a range of stakeholders.
• Oversee the month-end process, ensuring all financial information is accurate and complete.
• Continuously review and improve financial processes and systems.
• Ensure full compliance with all accounting and tax statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with auditors, providing necessary documentation and information.
• Participate in various ad-hoc projects and activities as required.

The successful candidate will also possess:
