Salary: £16.84 per hour

Employment Type: Full-time (Monday–Friday)

Our client is a leading mobility company committed to making homes and workplaces more accessible. They provide solutions such as stairlifts and ramps, helping people live independently and safely. They are looking for a motivated handyman to join their team and learn the craft of building and installing mobility equipment.

 
The Role:

As a Handyman, you’ll assist in the installation and maintenance of ramps, stairlifts, and other accessibility equipment. No prior experience in mobility solutions? No problem—our client will provide full training. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and seeing the difference your efforts make in people’s lives, this role is perfect for you.

 
Responsibilities:

 

•  Assist with the installation and assembly of ramps, stairlifts, and other accessibility equipment
  
  

•  Learn and apply techniques for safe and precise installations
  
  

•  Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces
  
  

•  Provide excellent customer service during on-site visits
  
  

•  Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
  
  

 

 
Requirements:

 

•  General handyman skills (DIY, basic carpentry, mechanical aptitude)
  
  

•  Willingness to learn and develop new skills in mobility solutions
  
  

•  Good physical fitness and ability to work on your feet
  
  

•  Reliable, punctual, and a team player
  
  

•  Valid driver’s license is a plus
