Job Description
Location: Purfleet-on-Thames
Salary: £16.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Ongoing
Shift: Monday to Friday | 07:00 – 17:00
About the RoleAn established and reputable Plant Hire company based in Purfleet is seeking experienced Class 2 Tipper Drivers for an ongoing contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting a Tipper vehicle between Purfleet-on-Thames and Sizewell on a daily basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for long-term, consistent work — with no handballing required.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 2 Tipper safely and responsibly
- Complete daily runs from Purfleet-on-Thames to Sizewell
- Navigate efficiently around London and surrounding areas
- Adhere to all transport, road safety, and company regulations
- Conduct vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence with no more than 6 penalty points
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience driving a Tipper vehicle
- Sound knowledge of Purfleet-on-Thames, and London surrounding areas
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
- CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required
- Competitive hourly pay: £16.00 per hour
- Monday to Friday work – your weekends are free
