Job Description

Mogden STW is our third largest wastewater treatment works and the operations team are responsible for serving around 2.1 million people across West London.  As a Process Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering this service by performing a range of assigned front line activities to safety, quality, time and cost standards, including but not limited to operating and testing assets, reactive problem solving and carrying out routine checks or planned and preventative maintenance.

What you’ll be doing as a Process Technician
  • Operate plant and equipment according to procedures and manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Perform first-line maintenance and cleaning across STW, resolving faults promptly.
  • Monitor, record data accurately, and report compliance issues.
  • Conduct critical checks on safety assets as specified.
  • Proactively address health and safety concerns, follow safety procedures, and use provided equipment.
Working hours: The standard working week starts at 7.30 am and finishes at 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday. Please note this role requires 1 in 6 weekly standby and call-out rota to support the operation of the treatment works out of hours.

What you should bring to the role
  • Previous experience working in an outside manual role.
  • Experience working within a similar industry or background working with mechanical equipment will be beneficial.
  • We are looking for someone with a desire to learn and make a difference.
  • We need someone who has a ‘can do’ attitude and proactive approach to work.
  • You have to be ready to be trained in safety procedures including confined space entry.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential
