Job Description
Location: Various locations across the region
Hours: Monday to Friday (start times usually between 05:00 – 05:30)
Duration: Ongoing, full-time work
Pay: TBC (dependent on client/site)
Role Overview
We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Driver’s Mates to join a busy delivery team. You will support the driver in delivering kitchen units and appliances directly to customers’ homes, including flats and properties with stairs. This is a physically demanding role and requires someone who is comfortable with manual handling throughout the working day.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting the driver with the safe loading and unloading of kitchens and associated items
- Delivering goods into the customer’s room of choice (including upstairs where required)
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery location
- Working safely and following manual handling guidelines
- Using delivery notes and recording paperwork as needed
- Ensuring vehicles are kept tidy and goods handled carefully
- Working as part of a 2-person team to plan each delivery appropriately
To succeed in this role, you will need to be:
- Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy items
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Confident interacting with customers in their homes
- A good team player with a helpful attitude
- Able to work long shifts (typically between 8–12 hours per day)

Additional Info
- Some deliveries will involve climbing stairs and moving through narrow spaces
- Manual handling training is beneficial — but full guidance will be provided
- PPE safety boots required
