Are you a practical, reliable AV Engineer looking for a varied role? Our client is seeking a hands-on engineer to support both field-based work and workshop operations, repairing and maintaining a range of audio-visual equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and service a variety of AV equipment (projectors, screens, amplifiers, etc.)
- Carry out repairs on-site at customer locations and within the workshop
- Handle equipment that may be heavy or awkwardly shaped
- Provide excellent customer service and technical support
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and service activities
- Assist in the workshop or warehouse during quieter periods
- Proven experience in AV equipment repair (essential)
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence (field work required)
- Physically fit – role involves heavy lifting and handling large or awkward items
- Proactive, customer-focused approach
- Printer repair knowledge (desirable but not essential
- Competitive salary based on experience
- Monday to Friday working hours – no weekends
